German Culture Spotlighted At Utica Library

In October, the Utica Public Library will present its annual Cultural Spotlight, with this year’s focus: German Culture. The kick-off program will be “An Evening of German Cuisine”, held on Tuesday, Oct. 16th at 6:30 pm in the library gallery. Come and taste some authentic German cooking! There will also be a series of displays that night featuring many of the wonderful people and things from Germany: everything from Beethoven to German Castles to Mies van der Rohe to the Porsche. The Utica Maennerchor will have a display of famous local Germans. The following week, on Wednesday, Oct. 24th at 6:30 pm, the Utica Maennerchor Choir will present an evening of German/Oktoberfest Music. Both programs are free to the public.
